Travis grew up in Surrey, B.C. He graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University in 1998 and received his Bachelor of Laws in 2002 from the University of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia bar in 2003.
Travis is a litigator with a broad range of experience. He practices in the areas of personal injury, defamation, estate litigation, real estate law and commercial litigation. He can assist individuals or companies prosecuting or defending claims in these areas of the law and can also assist clients in their efforts in collecting debts or who are involved in contract disputes.
He has successfully represented clients whom have been involved in disputes arising from a purchase of a business and real estate. Travis can also assist individuals in both defending and contesting Wills or Powers of Attorney including claims concerning capacity issues, undue influence or wills variation issues. He frequently appears in the British Columbia Supreme Court and has experience at the Court of Appeal level along with appearing before administrative tribunals. Travis also has a vast amount of experience in alternative dispute resolution including mediation. Travis tries to implement a practical approach for his clients in order to achieve the best results for them.
When not in the office or in the courtroom, you can often find Travis on the slopes or the pickleball court and enjoying time with his wife and three children.
