Kirsten Hildebrandt is a paralegal working for the Employment & Disability Group at KSW Lawyers. She was raised in Abbotsford, BC and grew up with a passion for learning. She graduated from high school with an International Baccalaureate Diploma and then moved to Kelowna, BC to study history and political science at the University of British Columbia – Okanagan Campus. In 2011, she was admitted to the rigorous Paralegal Diploma Program at Capilano University in North Vancouver, BC. She concluded her studies and completed her practicum in 2013. In January 2014, Kirsten was awarded her Paralegal Diploma with Distinction.
Kirsten started her paralegal career in 2013 at a large law firm in the Fraser Valley, where she was employed in the areas of commercial litigation and debt collection. She then obtained employment at a boutique firm specializing in employment and disability law. She has been employed by KSW Lawyers since 2016. Although she is employed and assists in all areas of employment law and disability law, she has developed a passion and talent for WorkSafeBC injury claims, disability insurance disputes, and Canada Pension Plan disability benefit appeals.
Kirsten presently resides in Chilliwack, BC with her husband and two young kids. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the river with her family. She also loves reading, writing, dancing, and traveling the world.
