Aman Bindra is a corporate lawyer with a particular emphasis on secured lending, debt financings, and real estate. Aman and his team assist clients with all real estate, banking, and corporate/commercial matters, including the purchase and sale of real estate and businesses, borrowing and lending, land development and construction, and leasing.
Aman regularly advises banks, credit unions, private lenders, and real estate developers and investors on structuring financings and the preparation and registration of security. Aman also advises on and prepares agreements relating to land, asset, and share purchases, construction projects, leasing, incorporations, partnerships, shareholder agreements, corporate reorganizations, and more.
Aman has been recognized in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada™ publication in the area of real estate law. Aman is an instructor of real estate and mortgage law at the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business, and he is also currently involved with the Banking and Real Estate sections of the Canadian Bar Association, along with being a Director of the South Asian Bar Association.
Aman grew up in Richmond, BC, and received both his undergraduate (Bachelor of Commerce) and law (Juris Doctor) degrees from the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining KSW Lawyers, Aman practiced law in downtown Vancouver with a large international law firm, where he gained extensive experience acting for large companies, funds, and high net worth clients across Canada.
Aman is a former varsity athlete and enjoys playing and coaching numerous sports, including basketball, hockey, swimming, and running.
