Allison spent 8 years practicing as a tax lawyer at a national law firm and international accounting firms based in Calgary. She completed advanced training in tax law, including the In-depth tax course (Parts 1, 2 and 3) administered by CPA Canada and Tax Law for Lawyers presented by the Tax Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association. In addition, she previously assisted in writing and developing coursework for the In-depth international tax course administered by CPA Canada. Since relocating to British Columbia, she has built up a thorough understanding of tax laws that influence the corporate and personal tax affairs of business owners in the private sector.
Allison grew up in Calgary and graduated from the University of Alberta. She lives in Surrey and values spending time with friends and family.
